August 2006 - SAGE Adds Two New Versatile Product Catalogs to Our Web Site

There have been some recent changes to look and layout of the SAGE web site. We hope that the changes have provided our customers with a great deal more information than in the past. With the new web site also came great new features. Namely, new Audio/Visual and Security Product Catalogs for our customers to learn even more information about the products and services we provide.

Look for the On-Line Product Catalog Images strategically placed throughout our Web Site to access these catalogs.

We have retained our COSTARS Product Catalog as well for our customers who are COSTARS Members to access these catalogs and view the COSTARS Contract pricing.

June 2006 - SAGE Adds BOSCH to our Line of Security Offerings

In an effort to enhance our security offerings to our clients, SAGE has recently added the BOSCH line of Security Products to our Security Line Card The quality and broad range of their product offerings will be a tremendous asset to our Security Engineering team. In addition, BOSCH is a Lancaster County based company with a great deal of resources to offer to the community and their clients.

May 2006 - Gilbane Receives AGC Award for Smeal College Project

Gilbane Building Company recently announced their selection by the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) as a Special Recognition Winner of the 2006 Marvin M. Black Excellence in Partnering Awards. According to the AGC, "Partnering is the collaboration of contractors and owners and other stakeholders. Partnering promotes innovation and provides best practices among all team members for the achievement of mutual goals and objectives."

Over 60 projects were nominated for this award...Only 8 were chosen to receive recognition. Congratulations to Gilbane for their diligent work on this project!! We look forward to many more successful project working with Gilbane and their outstanding team of project managers.

March 2006 - Harrisburg University Finalist to Receive Non-Profit Innovation Award

Each year the Central Pennsylvania Business Journal hosts several events that honor area businesses and non-profit agencies for outstanding work and innovation with awards such as The Top Forty Under Forty and The 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Central PA. SAGE, having worked closely with the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology in developing technology that enhances the educational experience for their students, is proud to have nominated Harrisburg University for their innovative work in the fields of science and technology. Not only does HU understand the need for educating their students in these fields, but also realizes the best way to teach technology is through practice. Therefore, they have implemented unique operations, systems and information technologies that offer their students the rich, robust technological climate they will find in the working world.

The awards breakfast was held March 29, 2006. Although the University did not win the award, we were proud to have partnered with an institution who's sole mission is to give back to the community. February 2006 - SAGE Supports PETE&C at 3rd Annual Expo & Conference

SAGE once again participated in the Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo and Conference (PETE&C) at the Hershey Lodge & Convention Center February 19-21. Giving our support to a collaborative organization whose vision is to meet the technology education demands of all aspects of education. PETE&C is a collaboration of five Pennsylvania Education groups; PETC, PASBO, PAECT, PAIU and PDE, and serves to share the technology experiences of the members of each group with everyone who has a vested interest in education throughout the Commonwealth. With representation from each of these groups, the conference was filled with useful ideas on the best practices for implementing and using technology in "real world" applications that truly reach their students, keeping them engaged in their education and improving achievement.

January 2006 - SAGE Sponsors First Annual Honorary Alumni Association Celebration at Harrisburg University

SAGE Technology Solutions, Inc. has been the University's partner in technology since before opening the doors to its pioneer class in August 2005 and was ask by the University to sponsor the First Annual Honorary Alumni Association Celebration exclusively to support this scholarship kick-off. With financial support from Rauland-Borg, Crestron, Sanyo and EV/Telex, SAGE 's technology partners on the Harrisburg University project, SAGE honored the University's request, delivering automated classroom technology demonstrations and financial underwriting.

August 2005 - SAGE Receives Press for Involvement in Automated Classroom Technology Upgrades at the New Harrisburg University

The new Harrisburg University for Science & Technology opens the doors to their inaugural class August 29, 2005. SAGE Technology Solutions was chosen to install the audio/visual systems in the classrooms adding another dimension to the already high-tech facility. The classrooms include Wireless Touch Panels for A/V System control, Wireless Lecture Microphones, two independent projection screens; one of which being a TeamBoard Interactive Whiteboard.

The new York Judicial Center is open. SAGE designed and installed the latest AV technology including touch screen panels for judges, TV distribution system, lobby displays, video playback, LAN video conferencing deposition, sound systems, audio recording and links to holding cells.
